16.03.2015 | CENDID Swings for Good Cause
Do you think CENDID is only involved in helping industrial plants save energy?
CENDID Energy Solutions was one of the corporate partners who helped realize fund raising projects of “Swing for the Kids” annual charity auction and golf tournament on March 8, 2015 at the fine greens of the Palm Springs Golf & Beach Resort in Indonesia.
This successful and meaningful event was organized by Christian Rahnsch, the Managing Director of CENDID Energy Solutions Singapore, who happens to be very passionate in helping the less fortunate kids from orphanages in the Philippines (Precious Heritage Children’s Home), Malaysia (Shan De Orphan Centre), Indonesia (Heritage Home Batam) and Vietnam (Tiny Hearts of Hope).
Swing for the Kids charity event is for golf enthusiasts who play for good cause. It was launched on 2013 and aims to foster sustainable development of orphanages by helping to meet their needs in building better living and learning conditions for underprivileged children.
This year’s event was indeed successful! With 140 golfers who participated, “Swing for the Kids” was able to raise a fund with a total of SGD 30,000. Proceeds support an ongoing project which includes construction of dormitories, roads, playgrounds and libraries. Part of the funds raised has been allocated to the education fund from “Little Heroes Dreams”.
